Dick Cheney is going on his annual hunting trip to South Dakota on Election Day.

In a word of warning to all hunters everywhere.  DO NOT GO TO SOUTH DAKOTA on Election Day.  You might end up with a bullet somewhere in your face.

Just an excuse to see Stephanie Herseth.

(I'll objectify her any day of the week.  Rowr.)

Well, if he ends up shooting someone, let's hope that he'll at least shoot someone who we really dislike.

You guys are forgetting this is South Dakota.  Considering it's a huge state in area with little more than 10 people living there, I don't think anyone has anything to worry about

*plus my opinion of Cheney would go up 100 fold if he shot MissCatholic

I thought you said you don't like looking at hot women.

Nonetheless, you have taste.

To the tune of The Homecoming Queen's Got a Gun

Hooooo - It was election night at my precinct
Hooooo - Everyone was there, like a skating rink
Hooooo - I was real excited, my jeans were a tent
Hooooo - 'Cause my best friend Cheney was vice president

He looked so pretty in green cammo, cammo
Riding the jeep like big John Rambo, John Rambo
Holding this humongous rifle in his hand, file
He looked straight out of Guns & Ammo

You know, like semi-automatic, I mean definitely an assault gun, assault gun
The crowd was cheering, everyone was stoked, was stoked
I mean it was like the whole party was totally soaked or something
The band was playing Evergreen
And all of a sudden somebody screamed

Look out!  The vice president's got a gun!

{Refrain}
Everybody run, the vice president's got a gun
Everybody run, the vice president has got a gun

Cheney's smiling and waving his gun
Picking off reporters one by one
Oh Malveaux's notepad just blew to bits
Oh no, Compton's head just did the splits
God, my best friend's on a shooting spree
Stop it, Cheney, you're embarrassing me
How could you be a wild shooter
Are you having a really bad quarter

{Refrain}

Stop Cheney, you're making a hurt
Powder burns all over your shirt

An hour later the anchors arrived
By then the entire Cabinet had died, no big loss
You wouldn't believe what they brought to report
Big dish, live feeds, even a chopper
"Throw down your gun and pacemaker and come out of the blind"
Cheney didn't listen to what the general said
He aimed and fired and now the Bill of Right's dead
Oh it's really sad but kind of a relief
I mean, we had this emminent domain case coming up next week

{Refrain}

Cheney's really having a blast
He's wasting half of the brass

The blogs fired a warning shot that blew him off message
I tried to scream "duck" but it stuck in my corsage
He hit the ground and did a flip, it was real acrobatic
But I was crying so hard I couldn't work my Instamatic
I ran down to Cheney, I had to find out
What made him do it, why'd he freak out
I saw the webpost had got him right in the ear
I knew then the end was near

So I ran down and I said, in his good ear, "Cheney, why'd you do it?" He raised his head, smiled, and said "I - I did it for Henry." Henry? Well like who's henry? Answer me, Cheney, who's Henry? Does anybody here know Henry? Are you Henry? There was one guy named Henry but he was a total geek, he always had this raspy voice. Answer me, Cheney, who's Henry? Oh God this is like that movie Citizen Kane you know where you later find out Rosebud was a sled? But we'll never know who Henry was because like he's dead.

Everybody run, the vice president's got a gun
Everybody run, the vice president has got a
Everybody run
Everybody run, the vice president has got a gun

No, it's more that I think you're creepy about it. Tongue

And...Stephanie Herseth isn't bad-looking, but my tastes run a little younger and a little more...people who I could actually go out with.  Wink

well it would probably cause some ripples of shock in Washington if she started dating a 20-year-old college student from Mississippi (even though her previous boyfriend was from TX and had a better age gap with her than I do!)
