Hell yes, I love this question.

Believe it or not, several of these guys probably exist. They are

a) Socialists firsts, "Republicans" second
b) Believe the "white working class" can be demystified and organized within the labor movement
c) Think the Democrats are too beholden too finance capital to be worth working within
d) Are too invested in electoralism and the two-party system to think outside the box
e) Terminally online

This is probably the most numerous such case of this sort of scenario.
It's like the opposite of having ultra-conservative Republicans in New York City who are registered Democratic because that way they can vote in the Democratic primary.
