First polls close at 7 ET in GA/VA. A couple notes:

- For DC, I will cover/call the following offices:
Mayor
Attorney General
Shadow Representative
U.S. Delegate

Each has only a contested D Primary.

-Arkansas has only a few local races so I will not be covering it.

Looks like Bowser will become the first person since Marion Berry to win a third term as Mayor.  She won the early/absentee ballots 57-34 over Robert White and the AP has already projected her as the winner.

Republican Voters in Virginia have chosen two Women to run against endangered Democrats Elaine Luria & Abigail Spanberger.

Republicans have to win both of these Seats to get to a House Majority.

Yseli Vega seems like one of the stronger Rs to take on Spanberger.

R victory in this district likely relies on Rs further cutting into Dem margins in diverse communities like Dale City. Furthermore, Vega doesn't seem particuarly to either faction of the Republican Party.

Def a tossup race, but if Dems are losing here, they are having trouble nationally and have lost the House.

Race ultimately turned into a regional Columbus-Thomasville split, and Hunt being perceived as a carpetbagger hurt him.
