I wouldn't vote option 3 btw. I asked this becase there seems to be a general feel online that "Trump next coup" is 100% going to happen and no one can stop it. Also I don't think Trump will win Connecticut and lose Maryland by 5%.

Democracy is in danger. The only way to save it is to always vote for staunch Trump Republicans.
