Petition for Direct Democracy

Greetings to the members of Congress of Atlasia,

I, Christian Man, Patriot Party member from Lincoln, am petitioning the right to transition our current representative democracy system into a partial direct democracy model. This would allow private citizens like me to directly vote on legislation that is drafted and created my members of Congress. Thank you and good night.

Historically, direct democracy was the status quo at the regional level for many years. I do worry that a full transition to direct democracy would prove fatal to a game that is after all called Atlas Fantasy Elections (which, incidentally, is probably where this thread should have been created).

The Midwest was a direct democracy for many years!
