Not that surprising, I think a majority of this country thinks it's time for a new generation of leaders, who are born in the 1960s at least, or 1970s. Obama was the only major party nominee born after 1948 so far. Just let that sink in for a moment.
That said, both sides would still end up voting for their candidate and a vote is a vote, doesn't matter whether it's with enthusiasm or not. Turnout would almost certainly decline in another Biden-Trump matchup.
They'd have been loads of nominees born in the 1960s and after already if they had sufficient political skills.
