Naples is quite possibly one of the worst places in western Europe to live in.

I was going to write "THE worst", but then I remembered Moss Side and Peckham.

Moss Side is better than it used to be... not that that's hard or anything but...
Monsall is probably the worst part of Manchester these days.

It was a nice visit though.  Smiley  I didn't get to stroll far from the port though and it was during the daytime. Otherwise, I'm sure things would have been a lot worse.

One of the best and grandest cities in the world? Are you kidding?

He's probably thinking of the eastern suburbs, rather than the city proper.

Bill Bryson disliked Naples. Now there's man to trust Smiley

I'm much more of a Low Countries fan when it comes to European holidays.

Charleroi is a bankrupt dive, with an abandoned half finished metro system Smiley I didn't enjoy my time there. To be honest Wallonia is a socialist hell hole and you can really see the difference when you enter Flanders Grin
