Would you rather be:

Boston Celtics from 1956 to 1969 led by superstar Bill Russell and head coach Red Auerbach. Boston won 11 NBA championships (in 1957, 1959, 1960, 1961, 1962, 1963, 1964, 1965, 1966, 1968, 1969) in the 13-year span of 1957–1969. Boston won an unprecedented eight consecutive championships from 1959 to 1966. Boston also has the distinction of having played in 10 straight NBA Finals from 1957–1966.[34][61][62]

or a fart in the wind, like then-Packers General Manager Ron Wolf said in 1998 after the Elway-led Denver Broncos upset the mighty Green Bay Packers from repeating:

Quote
Denver's gritty Broncos, almost a two-touchdown underdog, overpowered the Packers on Sunday with the same type of physical, stubborn, intelligent performance that had driven Green Bay to the brink of establishing a National Football League dynasty.

In the biggest Super Bowl shocker since Super Bowls III and IV, the Broncos rode the magnificent running of Terrell Davis to a 31-24 upset of the Packers in a pulsating Super Bowl XXXII.

"We're a one-year wonder, just a fart in the wind," Packers general manager Ron Wolf said. "Now this will stop all this idiotic talk about a dynasty. We just got our guts kicked out here."

I'll go.

I rather probably be the 1959-66 Celtics, winning 8 titles in a row.

The '96-'97 Packers could have been a dynasty, but lost to the Broncos and they were not a focused team. They wanted to match the 1990s Cowboys dynasty, their hated rival.

This is probably the strangest bronz thread I've ever seen.

No, it is not. It is a simple question. Would you rather be a long term sports dynasty or a one and done wonder like the '96-'97 Packers?

How is this really a question :

8 titles in a row and 11 in 13 years is obviously greater than just winning 1 title .
