I'm extremely conflicted. On one hand, him taking his sneakers off would suck because he doesn't want to take them off in the show, but on the other hand, I really want to see his feet. Can somebody help me out here?

You guys are missing the point. After he runs away from the men in the suits, he sings "I didn't take my sneakers off, I'm still Sneakers O'Toole." The implication is that if he DOES take off his sneakers, he'll cease to be Sneakers O'Toole. So of course he will not do so. This isn't really explained well in the episode. I would actually like to see Family Guy revisit this at some point and maybe provide some more background and backstory for the character.
