He's a mixed bag. As a filmmaker, he's incredibly talented and his films are effective and hilarious, but full of disinformation. You can't have a fair conversation about the modern mainstreaming of conspiracism in this country without at least mentioning Michael Moore. His dishonesty makes it incredibly difficult for me to respect him beyond my respect for him as a filmmaker and comedian.

He's also a liberal blue-collar guy, something I really wish there was more of, who gets it when it comes to what Americans need, and that's health, a home, and a steady job. If early-2000s Michael Moore ran the Democratic Party, it'd be a much more successful operation.

What DaleCooper just said. I certainly would agree with Michael Moore on more issues than I would disagree, but some of the stuff he does is just to manipulative for my taste.

FF until I turned him back for criticizing the Democratic Party. Now I have mistaken felt the Party needed no reform, being so naive the party establishment needed no challenges to the prevailing long term strategy. On that count I would say he's a FF.
