That's what the Electoral College does for you.

The possibility that minor leaguers playing in affiliated baseball (MiLB) could become unionized with the MLBPA is closer to reality that we think, as efforts to sign union authorization cards are underway.

ESPN:
Quote
The Major League Baseball Players Association took an initial step toward unionizing the minor leagues Sunday night, sending out authorization cards that will allow minor league players to vote for an election that could make them MLBPA members, union executive director Tony Clark told ESPN on Sunday night.

The potential unionization of more than 5,000 minor leaguers is the latest action in a yearslong effort by players who won a $185 million settlement from the league in an unpaid wages class-action lawsuit and have received housing from teams and increased pay in recent years. Minor league players, whose compensation and benefits are not collectively bargained, continue to argue for higher salaries, which for a vast majority range from around $5,000 to $14,000 annually. Furthermore, the Senate Judiciary Committee has suggested it will call a hearing to explore MLB's antitrust exemption and its treatment of minor leaguers.

Advocates for Minor Leaguers, the group that has spent recent years organizing minor league players, is now working with the MLBPA, which collectively bargains with MLB on behalf of the 1,200 players on major league rosters.

[...]

In order for the MLBPA to represent minor leaguers in collective bargaining, 30% of players need to sign union authorization cards, which would prompt an election. If a majority of those who vote in an election choose for union representation, the National Labor Relations Board will require MLB to recognize the union. The league and MLBPA then would collectively bargain for minor leaguers, an outcome that even five years ago would've registered as farfetched.

Dodgers win all the time because everyone underestimates TreaTurner he won a ring with the Nats in 2019 he is bound to win another with Dodgers that's why they got rid of Seagar the guy is super fast like Matthew Stafford has a great arm, there is no second guessing why Stafford and Trea Turner

Trea said he trains with his wife whom is a gymnast, that's why he is fast

I am so glad the Mets lose, they signed Max Scherzer to 130 M dollar contract he isn't worth that much, he complained about a Dead arm that's why Dodgers lost against Braves

Alot of these owners just throw money at these players just like Anthony Davis of Lakers, because they are Rich

Happy MLB Roster Expansion Day, in which the active roster expands to 28 and a 14-man pitcher limit.

28-man is too low, maybe 30 or 32 would be better.

Cubs are a terrible team they won't win another title as long as no free agents come to the team

Spencer Strider struck out 16 in 8 innings, a new Atlanta record (the Braves franchise record is 18 by Warren Spahn when they were in Milwaukee).  3-0 Braves in the bottom of the 8th.

It's gonna be a Dodgers v Astros World Series Dodgers and Astros are very tough for opposing teams to beat in their home park but can Dodgers beat an AL team that's not Tampa Bay Rays, they failed twice against Astros and Red Sox

Trea Turner can turn it up and so can Freeman that's why the Dodgers can lose a bunch of games and still have the best record in MLB, they lost to the Mets after beating them

The Braves beat the Marlins 2-1 on a WOW (Walk Off Walk) - a bases-loaded walk with two out in the bottom of the 9th.

The Braves aren't gonna beat the Dodgers and White Sox aren't beating Astros but the playoffs are almost here

Just like I expect KC v Rams Superbowl

Trea Turner, Freeman, Betts, ALTUVE are Hall of Famers  and Stafford Aarold Donald are  Hall of Famers and Stafford have a strong arm and Trea Turner is very fast that's why he won a Ring with Nats

I know that's hard for some fans to believe bits that's what it is just like Steph Curry is still too fast not for the Lakers but Eastern Conference teams he only lost to Kawi Leonard with Raptors and so did Lebron James with Miami Heat and Spurs

But can Rams beat KC or Packers in playoffs, they didn't play last year and can Dodgers beat a team other than Rays in a World Series, Curry proved he can beat other teams that don't have Kawhi Leonard they beat Boston Celtics

The Braves sweep the Marlins and move to within one game of the Mets, who uncharacteristically dropped 2 of 3 at home to the lowly Nats.  We've got a real pennant race!

Just a note I am not an LA fan ANYMORE, it would be nice it Dodgers and Rams do get beat but Trea Turner is fast don't underestimate him he won a ring with the Nats but Nats had Max Scherzer as well and don't underestimate Stafford he has a Good arm, but he can lose to the Chiefs or Packers they didn't play in playoffs last yr.

But the Dodgers have beaten all the NL but not all the AL teams with Freeman they are more likely to lose to Astros or Yankees because they have the DH now and the only team Dodgers lost to I'm a World Series was Astros and Red Sox, the Rays we're chopped lived, but they didn't have Freeman and Trea Turner but in the playoffs it's very tough to hit in that Dom, especially homers, I doubt Will Smith or Betts are gonna hit homers at Astrodome, than in regular season that's why Dodgers are vulnerable

The only team that is assured a title in Cali are the Warriors, Steph Curry is very fast, in sports Curry, Stafford and Trea Turner are very fast you gotta look at speed not just skill, Hunter Pence as big as he was won 3 titles he stole signs that's part of game and was very fast on stealing bases, so is Mookie Betts

That 2017 team that played the Astros Justin Turner was way more likely to hit homers than he is now.

Curry is too fast for East coast, he didn't have a letdown with Boston Celtics, but not fast against the Suns or Lakers with Devin Booker and LeBron, the only two people Curry lost to were Kawhi Leonard and LeBron James everyone else he beats

It's nice to see Giants are never gonna be the same team that won ,
100 games the lost Posey that's why they wanted Posey back, this yr he was only 34, but he made so much money anyways, Rich people invest money and they also do endorsements, that salary is pocket change after Endorsement

The Warriors are great again because Anthony Davis is never gonna be a great player he is injury prone and he only won the title during a shorten season he is the same injury prone player as Derrick Rise

The Major League Baseball competition committee is set to vote Friday on rule changes that would begin in 2023 and include a first-ever pitch clock, the elimination of the shift, bigger bases and a limit to how many times a pitcher can disengage from the rubber, according to sources familiar with the situation.

See the article for much more detail on the proposed rules.

The Mets are still a small favorite to win the division, according to various playoff odds sites.  I expect the 3-game series in Atlanta starting Sep. 30 is going to be decisive.

Banning the shift is a disgrace. It's just not baseball anymore.
