How much press is this actually getting in Nevada?
Well, Gibbons launched a lawsuit today to force the police to release surveilance tapes that Gibbons claims will prove that he didn't do it, so it definitely will get coverage today. Given that the story was dying down (the woman had declined to press charges, and as far as I can tell she only accused him of groping, not penetration, I think the lawsuit was a dumb idea) I guess he's trying to distrct voters from his illegal Peruvian nannygate. Neither scandal is big but the combo might be enough to swing Nevada. It's already had enough of an effect in the polls that I've changed Nevada from safe to lean in my gubernatorial predictions.
