If Bell was smart (a rather large "if"), he will go after Strayhorn. She is drawing a lot of the Democratic base, largely at the cost of Chris "Not so good hair" Bell. If he can put his slanderous political whine machine to work against Strayhorn the same way he did against Kinky, it just might be a race.

I think it's too late for that. Barring a sudden, massive shift that the pollsters haven't seen, this race is, unfortunately, Perry's.

Weirder things have happened. But in the name of sanity, I will agree with you.

Sad I refuse to give up hope.  Bell is the #2 candidate I'm rooting for overall this cycle.
