My plans WERE to go to a great little Italian place (Ricardo Trattoria, highly recommend for my Chicago crew) in Lincoln Park and then get drinks at the little bar inside the Waldorf Astoria after.  Possibly then to meet up with my friend who's a regular at a bar in River West so we have a guaranteed spot always.

Alas ... I have COVID, lol.  So, I have been in my 800-square-foot apartment for four days now. :/

I love that restaurant!  In  return, i reccomend you try Sapori Trattoria - also in LP.

Campagnola in Evanston once you've graduated to the North Shore. Wink

Not to further derail the thread, but Orso’s is a great Italian option if you all haven’t been. Classic haunt in Old Town

Happy new year to all. Celebrated at a private party with some friends.
