Option 2. I wish New Year's Eve shows were more common but venues usually just throw some themed party with DJs instead of bands and with an outrageous cover charge.

Option 4 is the most likely. Cobra Kai season 4 is some pretty exciting sh**t.

Options 5 and 6.  Working during the day, then likely going to bed before midnight.  I usually don’t stay up as I’m not a huge party person and I lost interest in watching the ball drop at 11 PM many years ago.  Though I did stay up the last couple of years, to see 2020 and the new decade come in, and then last year because I happened to be up late and was eager to see 2020 go away.

I'm going to Minneapolis. Maybe we'll be at the same place.

sleeping because who cares, each year just brings us closer to the apocalypse, followed by eternity in the torment of hell.

Working at the pool to get that sweet, sweet, dinero. Afterwards I'll either head to my friend's house to celebrate New Years or celebrate it with my family.

I am rarely awake past 10:00 pm these days, and with Omicron. It's me and my partner and the dog in the pack den absent compelling circumstances. Peggy Noonan (yeah, most of you don't know that name perhaps as less fossilized human specimens than I), once wrote, "be good to your troop." And that is the only reason I am still here to bore you all to death. My troop, Dan and Roby, were there for me. Happy New Year in advance.

Going to a worship night, so really none of the above.  I'm really excited for it.  The girl who planned it has hosted four throughout the month of December (I went to 3 of them, all of which were really great), but this is the biggest one of all the worship nights.

Just spending time at home with the most inner circle. Public events are pretty much cancelled everywhere and fireworks are not for sale this year because of the pandemic.

Going to a house party. Still to be decided whose house exactly, but it'll work out.

The problem with going out to a club or something on New Year's Eve is always the same though - the highlight of the night being at midnight means that you've basically already had the climax really early, and after that you're kind of an a come down. Really, New Year should be at like 4am or something so it at least fits a night out a bit better.

My wife and I will have barbecue in the garden together with our neighbors next door and two friends from work. I'm already excited for the steaks and self made fries.

I tested positive on covid on Christmas day. While I am fine now, it means I have to self-isolate at home until tomorrow (7 days of isolation is what the Spanish government currently mandates). So any option out of #4 or #6 is out fo reach for me.

I have a huge migraine today, so if it goes away it will probably be #4. If it doesn't I'll go to bed early in the hope that it goes out somehow tomorrow morning and it will be #6.
