Shoot, it is a typo - it should be Clinton (not Kerry) no way to change a poll option is there.

Clinton is incredibly smart and interesting to listen to. When he can talk about his roots, the sex scandals don't bother me. Send him at us.

It's the story of Kerry's campaign: having to decide between two poor choices.  Either he rejects the man who showed the Democrats how to win with the "New Democrat" image, or he lets himself be overshadowed by a publicity hound with high negatives and low popularity.

Oh, if you need a laugh, check out the advertiser links in the above article.  Sometimes computers work too well.

Give Bubba a nice Bus, and his own personal set of TV cameras, and have him "camp out" in Arkansas, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, maybe Michigan if it get's close.

Never actually campaign 'with him" so he always has the sole an exclusive spotlight in the local media coverage.

Call it the Bubba Book Tour Economic nostalga tour...

I'll take door #3 and add a few states... Smiley

The only people who care about Clinton's scandals anyway are hardcore GOP partisans. Remember, his ratings went UP while he was being impeached. Gore blew it big time by not letting him campaign for him. I went with #1

#3, Clinton could be very effective regionally, but if he went to battle ground states...well let's just say 4 years isn't all that long ago.

Bill Clinton is a divider. The left hates Bush with almost the same fervor that Rush Limbaugh, Ken Starr, and all the others hate Clinton. Having Clinton campaign will get Republicans out to vote against a campaign closely related with him, will simply remind Democrats (whose turnout should be pretty good this year because we simply hate Bush so much) that they gotta go and vote, and hopefully will remind independents of the tech boom and the times when all was good, enough to get them to vote for John F. Kerry, who can bring it all back.

Gore's biggest mistake was not being Clinton 2, but whatever Clinton was in 2000, hes just an ex-president who reminds people of scandal and pre-9/11 mistakes (though over the longer term views of his legacy will be much better). One of the biggest assets Kerry has right now is that he's a new face on the national scene, he represents "tommorrow", someone who embodies a desire for change. He's the opposite of Gore, whose asset was continuity and stability. If he gets Clinton on him, he loses all that, which is why I don't think Clinton should campaign for him.

Eh. I think his book coming out now is the worst thing for Kerry. Maybe the best thing for Bill...but if he's gonna campaign with Kerry...no use rehashing what everyone already knows. That Bill is a huge liar.

Policy wise...Clinton wasn't so bad...you should use him regionally...not under the radar...but not sharing the stage either.

Option 3: Bubba is *very* popular in Arkansas, WV et al... sure let him campaign. Keep him well away from anything that looks like Sunbelt Exurbia though...
