What are the political leanings of Greek-Americans like? I’ve noticed they tend to be fairly prominent in New York Republican politics with a lot of Greek candidates being nominated.

Post Dukakis, the same as most other white ethnics.

On a sort-of tangential note, at least a sizeable minority of Greek-Canadians in Quebec tend to run more right-wing than the general population or other ethnic groups. I always heard anecdotes about Greeks who are big Trump fans and anti-vaxxers, but the data bears it out too. The Parti Conservateur Quebec did best in the Montreal region in Southern Laval in 2018 and the PPC posted its strongest Montreal-area performance there in 2021’s federal election.

I've read that Greek Americans are one of the most affluent and educated white ethnic groups.  They're also a small group and outside Astoria and a few other pockets in Queens there really aren't Greek concentrations to look at voting patterns closely.  Not sure if they share the culturally conservative/practical businessman outlook similar to Italian Americans.

Interesting two prominent figures of the Canadian socialist left are Greek Canadian, Niki Ashton (the most left-wing MP, whose mother is Greek) and Dimitri Lascaris, who ran for the Green leadership.
