The filing deadline is tomorrow, and according to Politics1.com the Democrats still lack candidates in 5 of the 38 U.S House districts.

1.6th District
2.11th District
3.19th District
4.25th District
5.26th District

TX-06: Has a fair bit of Dallas County but no.
TX-11: No
TX-19: No
TX-25: Has a fair bit of Tarrant County but no.
TX-26: Has a fair bit of Denton County but no.

It seems in addition to those five districts, no Democrat ended up filing in the 31st District, and the Democrat in the 22nd District had to file as a write-in candidate.

It seems in addition to those five districts, no Democrat ended up filing in the 31st District, and the Democrat in the 22nd District had to file as a write-in candidate.

Why don't some Atlas members file for these sorts of races?  Just for a giggle?  Don't have to campaign or anything.
