It's called Secularist and we  all live in a Secular Democracy not a Communist, everyone is Secularist but if you vote R you are a Traditionalist just like Red China is Traditional that's why there is a blue and Red Divide

Blue means changing status quo
Red means Status quo or Dictatorship in Communist Red meant Dixiecrat before Industrial Revolution because they kept status quo slavery

Do you think the origin of the mongoloids (including things such as typhoons causing slanted eyes, etc.) could have influenced the Communust reds in China?

I've learned over the last few years that I'm way more liberal than most Democrats.

I am a South Park Democrat.

But ultimately, yes. We live in a plutocracy where all the wealth and power is concentrated in the hands of government and business. Privacy is under attack in this country and I don't like having to choose who gets to monitor my life.

I identify as a liberal when I want to make a point about basic freedoms, consent of the governed, democracy and (thanks Beccaria!) criminal justice. In other occasions I identify as a socialist, in some as a conservative. All are good.

Well, my comment was rather tongue-in-cheek. Of course, I do sympathize greatly with the entire Enlightenment liberal movement from the Glorious Revolution of 1688 down to the Founding Fathers and through the modern liberalism of Keynes and Roosevelt. I also support "traditional liberal values" on a great many number of subjects relating to individual liberties and civil rights. Furthermore, Liberalism (as a political ideology) ought to be viewed in the context of the historical circumstances that begat it, and as an economic philosophy this was mostly the waning of mercantilism and the ascendancy of free trade as exemplified by the Anglo-Dutch wars, which was a necessary and positive development. As a program of political economy today, however, I am decidedly against what would be properly termed as economic liberalism, preferring instead a trade-unionist model of worker ownership; however, I still regard a purely free market system as a step above the corporate subsidies model, Wall Street undermining of market practices, and the control of elections and public officials by big business.

This, although the only times I identify as a conservative is for meme purposes.

Well, we all know you are somewhat less conservative than I am. For meme purposes I use "reactionary".

I'm a liberal by self-ID. But I believe that the principle of liberating/having a liberal society is well-served through communities and families and similar institutions, so it's not necessarily the most individualistic variety of it.

No, as it's morphed into a term that is used by regressive centrists who want to hide the fact they're centrist.
