If Grover Cleveland sought reelection to 3rd or 2nd consecutive term in 1896, how do you think he performs as Dem nominee against GOP challenger William McKinley?

William Jennings Bryan runs as the Populist nominee and sweeps the West and parts of the South. Cleveland gets crushed due to the Panic of 1892.

I think the only part of the country that sticks with Cleveland is the Solid South a la Parker in 1904, but yeah there still would've been a Populist candidate who would've won some states.
