Before the next round of Senate elections, the Governors must redisitrict the regions so that they have equal populations.  The data from this census, and the past presidential election, will be used to determine the population of each state.

If you did not vote in the Presidential election on June 18-20, and you are a registered Atlas Fantasy voter, please post your name, home state, and party (if you wish) to this thread.

If you voted in the presidential election, you do not need to post here...you will automatically be counted.

In order to count those members who may be on vacation or away from the forum, this census will run for two weeks, closing on July 5th.

The maps resulting from the census will take effect in the August Senate elections.  Governors and Regions are not affected.

(Gustaf, please sticky this thread.)

It says if they did not vote they have to post here to be included in the census.

If you registered to late you couldn't have voted Smiley

I think they should respond to the census...sometimes people register and are never heard from again, and they should not be counted.

This thread merits a sticky...the census is required by the Constitution, but is meaningless if people can't find the thread.

Well...I'm here. Smiley

Constitutionally required censuses do of course have to be stickied. But the stickies are becoming a problem, most notably b/c bills are proposed and not dealt with ona quick enough basis. Angry Wink

Only registered voters can be counted in the census, you need to get 18 posts before you can register to vote.

If he later registers legally, we should count him.
