What is your opinion of porn?

Do you feel that it's a major societal problem like the Utah Republican Party does?  Or do you think it's harmless and should not be banned (aside from the usual safeguards to keep minors away from it)?

Millennials are the first generation in history to grow up with pornographic videos being streamed into their bedrooms as teenagers, so this generation certainly is well-acquainted overall with it.  I would imagine upwards of 80% or more of every 30-40 year old in America has seen at least 10 seconds of a porn video, even if it was a pop up ad.

Nor do I think it "safe".  200,000 Americans are addicted to online pornography.  40 million Ameircans view pornography.  35% of all downloads are porn or porn-related.  I find it hard to believe that there' no relationship between these stats and the level of sex assaults and human trafficking we have today.

I know I probably have a reputation as "the guy who defends porn and prostitution" but my personal interest in hardcore porn is zero. If I were to take one of those fetish tests I would score a 0% in voyeurism, not interested in watching other people have sex. Still see nothing wrong with it morally and making it illegal is a fantastically dumb idea.

Also let's keep in mind that SoCons are feminists say things like the SI Swimsuit issue and Victoria's Secret ads are "porn" when it's just women in swimsuits or lingerie.
