Easy PNW choice.

The allure of the North Woods calls me every day.

I like Arizona and New Mexico to some extent, but basically this.

Rockies are the most Republican overall but also have the smallest number of people in them and IMO the best natural beauty. PNW and Cali look great on that front too in many places, but there’s also too many hippies and people in general, too much dysfunction and chaos, and too much potential for natural disasters. Also a depressing amount of rain in the western PNW in particular. As for the desert Southwest, overall the people and the climate are just not as appealing to me even though there are some cool places and national parks in those states too.

The Rocky Mountains. I love skiing, so if I had to move somewhere in the US it would be a ski town in Colorado.

Utah should be part of the Rocky Mountains, and that is my favorite part of the Western United States.

Oregon is like CA but with less homeless people and better (cooler) weather.

Placing Utah in "Desert Southwest" rather than "Rocky Mountains" is a very strange decision, as if Zion and Bryce Canyon were the whole state. In any case, all of these places are wonderful: I've had the chance to spend some time in the Southwest in the last couple years and love it dearly, I haven't been to the Rockies as an adult but I'm itching to go back, and I've spent very little time in the Northwest but I constantly find myself thinking about the day I spent in Seattle in June.

All that being said, California is the obvious answer. There is very little that you'll find in the rest of the West (at least in the contiguous United States) that you won't find in California. By the end of this year, I'll have experienced California's deserts and mountains and forests all in the year 2021 alone. There's a reason nobody in this thread has mustered a convincing argument against California.
