This bill will improve our crumbling roads and bridges. When our roads and bridges are falling apart, that hurts our economy and makes our region less attractive for business. People don’t want to move to somewhere with poor infrastructure too, and people don’t want to visit our region if the roads to get to places aren’t great. This will help our economy, fix our obvious infrastructure problems, and help Lincoln’s people.

I decided to let this become law without my signature. It's a good bill, but I had reservations, that said I did not want to veto it. That would send the wrong message.
