I don't think Biden or Harris can win in 2024. We need a progressive.

I don't think any Democrat can win in 2024. We just don't have any good options, plus the economy will be in the sh****r by then if Manchin and Sinema have anything to say about it.

Who are the 14% of Democrats who would vote for Harris over Biden in a primary?

Obviously not going to happen, but I wonder who this type of voter is...

Poor black women between the ages of 45 and 64.  At least according to the crosstabs...

Dems:
men: Biden +18 over Harris
women: Biden +6 over Harris
age 18-29: Biden +22 over Sanders
age 30-44: Biden +11 over Harris
age 45-64: Biden/Harris tie
age 65+: Biden +11 over Buttigieg/Warrn
white: Biden +15 over Harris
black: Biden +9 over Harris
Hispanic: Biden +1 over Ocasio-Cortez
under $50k income: Biden +2 over Harris
$50-100k income: Biden +23 over Harris
over $100k income: Biden +6 over Buttigieg
fully vaccinated: Biden +12 over Harris
not fully vaccinated: Biden +4 over Sanders
have children under 18: Biden +15 over Harris
don’t have children under 18: Biden +10 over Harris/Sanders

GOP:
men: Trump +23 over DeSantis
women: Trump +29 over DeSantis
age 18-29: Trump +34 over DeSantis
age 30-44: Trump +30 over DeSantis
age 45-64: Trump +22 over DeSantis
age 65+: Trump +11 over DeSantis
white: Trump +25 over DeSantis
Hispanic: Trump +12 over DeSantis
under $50k income: Trump +40 over DeSantis
$50-100k income: Trump +21 over DeSantis
over $100k income: DeSantis +8 over Trump
fully vaccinated: Trump +15 over DeSantis
not fully vaccinated: Trump +30 over DeSantis
have children under 18: Trump +32 over DeSantis
don’t have children under 18: Trump +20 over DeSantis

Yes, DeSantis is actually ahead of Trump among Republican voters who make more than $100k a year.  Among that group, it's:

DeSantis 31%
Trump 23%
Haley 12%
Carlson 4%
Pence 3%
Rubio 3%
Youngkin 2%
Not sure 22%

Really hard to square this with the Morning Consult poll showing Biden with a 70 point lead

I don't think Biden or Harris can win in 2024. We need a progressive.

An economic progressive, not a CRT progressive. Someone who can keep VA in the D column.

Doesn't seem that hard to see, they like what Biden is doing but would like someone younger, and like that Kamala Harris is a woman and not white.

The Morning Consult poll was asking the question "would you support Biden or someone else" as opposed to running through options. I'm guessing that's why there was so much difference between these two.

The poll is probably junk but kind of funny (and I guess sad?) to see Biden performing considerably worse than Trump in their respective party primaries considering Biden is one who is the sitting President.

But this poll did include a Biden or someone else question and the results were equally bad for Biden as the multiple candidate primary:
"vs someone else
Biden 38%
Someone else 41%"
