There's some chatter in some Telegram channels that it's leaked that Ukrainian intelligence has already IDed the Wagner Group members responsible for the beheading and is planning a Mossad-style targeted assassination campaign against them.

German government authorizes delivery of Polish MiG-29s (who originally belonged to the German Air Force until 2003/04) to Ukraine. So far, Poland had only supplied MiGs from non-German sources:

"Bloomberg says Germany permitted the re-export of five MiG-29s."

This article also mentions Germany sold 23 former GDR MiG-29s in 2002/3 and Poland still has a dozen of those left. I am assuming the rest were likely cannibalized for parts over the past two decades.

It's very fortunate, but I don't think that would have been WW3 even if the missile launched properly and successfully downed the aircraft. There were similar incidents during the Cold War, some of which included deliberate shootdowns and multiple casualties.

Don’t use reason arguing with robots, they can only follow the same script they were programmed into. They will soon lecture you about the Pentagon being internally affected by Russian interference or something.

I don’t think you’re following news if you describe facts as fantasy/fetish.

That the Global South is attempting to bring the dollar down once and for all as a result of the economic war reaction is undeniable. Whether it becomes real/successful and more than just an attempt is what is still yet to be written.

Lula’s speech while in China this week was pretty clear.

He still IS in China actually.

Gave a speech in the BRICS bank ceremony where Dilma Rousseff was installed as the new president of the bank (presidency rotates between the five founding countries and Brazil’s term is between 2020-2025, with the guy Bolsonaro appointed in 2020 being switched out for Dilma). Is visiting a bunch of Chinese tech companies and is expected to come back home with a bunch of economic deals because China is courting him hard and giving him a giant reception with a bunch of partnerships/investments proposed, as they want to make their case that they’re better partners to us than the USA.

Search for reports or translations of both Lula and Dilma’s speeches if you can find in western media. Otherwise I can post the Brazilian Portuguese link and you translate it yourself.

What facts? You never even give clear lines of what the “global south” is and the places you do list normally have neighboring countries that are aiding Ukraine so it falls on its face. Hell even Brazil who you keep circling back to as the model of this “global south” crap plays both sides on this as they will spout pro-Russia garbage about NATO causing the war but then go to Ukraine and demand Russia return everything but Crimea back

I know what the literal “Global South” is but as I mentioned there are plenty pro-Ukraine countries in that group and Russia certainly isn’t in it

(…)

This Thursday, President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva used Dilma Rousseff's inauguration at the NDB (the BRICS bank) to defend the use of local currencies among the bloc's economies. A week ago, the Brazilian government announced that it had started to allow trade with China to take place in local currency.

In addition, the two countries signed an agreement so that banks in Brazil can use the financial payment system created by China, an alternative to the SWIFT system.

But the White House's concern is not just the impact it would have on trade. At the heart of the debate in American diplomacy is the fear that, if the Brics plan succeeds, the dollar will not only cease to be hegemonic. But, above all, the world will have an alternative to circumvent any financial sanctions imposed by the Americans.

Today, when the US government decides to put pressure on a foreign government, one of its greatest weapons is not in the warehouses of the Armed Forces, but in the US Treasury: the dollar and the financial system that the US currency structures.

In practice, the government under American sanctions cannot use the American currency, generating serious problems for its public accounts or any relationship with the outside world. This involves everything from fueling an aircraft at a foreign airport or paying for food imports.

Sanctions of this style have been implemented against Russia, North Korea, Cuba, Iran, Syria and Venezuela, in addition to being adopted against personalities in Belarus, Eritrea, Liberia, Mali, Nicaragua and many others.

(…)

The visit is still ongoing though. I think the Xi Jinping meeting, the key point of the visit, only happens tomorrow.

It's real...

In the 2014 Donbass war, the Russians took old retired Soviet T-34 85 tanks from World War Two memorials and used them in combat. After losing 2/3 of their tanks, Russia may be desperate enough to bring out the the T-34 85s out of retirement again.

It's very fortunate, but I don't think that would have been WW3 even if the missile launched properly and successfully downed the aircraft. There were similar incidents during the Cold War, some of which included deliberate shootdowns and multiple casualties.

The Soviets literally downed a South Korean civilian airliner with 269 people on board.
