My first thought was union members mad about NAFTA. It wouldn’t surprise me if their were quite a few of those.

Agree with the OP.

Could also be political moderate that was turned off by the Whitewater scandal and just couldn't bring himself to vote for Dole in 1996. Or someone who got frustrated with the 2 party system during Clinton's 1st term, especially after the 1994 midterms and thought an 3rd party prez would be better or at least send a signal to the 2 parties.

a blue coller worker from eastern kentucky who a social conservative who was disappointed with bill clinton and nafta but wasnt willing to switch to the republicans yet infact perot actually did better in a number of counties in kentucky in 96 then 92

I got excited but I'm a Perot '92 and Clinton '96 voter. I'm still mad at Clinton for NAFTA either way, but the economy was doing really well at the time.
