Polls close at 8pm in the Yukon which is 11pm here in the east.

The Yukon is the only territory with political parties, the right of centre and current governing Yukon Party, the opposition Liberals and the NDP. Party switching is extremely common in the Yukon which can (and has) dramatically change the composition of the small legislature. This article goes in depth about the craziness that is politics in the Yukon: http://www.cbc.ca/yukonvotes2006/features/feature4-crossing-floor.html

Recent polls:
LIB 37
YP 34
NDP 25
OTH 4

YP 35
LIB 31
NDP 31
OTH 3

There are also riding by riding polls, which I doubt are very acurate considering how small ridings are in the Yukon.

They gave the YP 7 seats, NDP 6 and the Liberals 5 seats.

At dissolution the YP had 9 seats, the Liberals 4, the NDP 3 and there were 2 independents. Last election The YP had 12 seats the NDP 5, and the Liberals 1. Now, you can clearly see how much party switching has gone on , considering there was only one by-election.

Also of note, the MP for the territory is a Liberal, but both the tories and the NDP have held the seat before.

*laughs*

One poll in so far from Pelly-Nisultin. Look who's in the lead!

Elvis Aaron Presley   IND   7   50%
Hammond Dick   LIB   3   21.43%
Gwen Wally   NDP   3   21.43%
Marian Horne   YP   1   7.14%

That's all the results so far. Not on TV Sad

YP's now has a lead with 9 seats. Liberals have 4 and the NDP has 3. Maybe CBC will be calling this for the YP soon?

It was on TV after all. CBC has declared the Yukon Party winners. Havent decided on majority or minority yet, as they are on the cusp with 10 of 18 leading so far.
