I see this as a sign Bernie's considering primarying Biden/Harris in 2024, or at least keeping the door open to such a campaign.

His request was reasonable. Sinema's position deserve profuse condemnation by the leadership.

This is not as bad as Trump encouraging his fanatics to go after the damn RINOs who are "disloyal" to him, but it's what, 50% of the way there? Do Democrats really want to go any percentage down that road?

Bernie already indicated that he's not going to run again. I can easily see AOC or someone aligned with her run. Cori Bush seems like a likely contender if AOC retires from politics, which she has hinted she might.

I don't like the performative signed statements about how we're opposed to pretty obviously objectionable things. I don't believe Bernie Sanders wants his colleague to be harassed, and I don't think he should need to sign a meaningless statement in order to prove that.

Just looked at it.

Calling it a rebuke is pretty strong, considering that according to staff emails, the suggested edit was "While we hope Senator Sinema will change her position on prescription drug reform and support a major reconciliation bill . . ."

That is pretty damn mild. It's not even really a rebuke. It's a gentle statement of 'Well we hope she comes around eventually'.

But, the usual suspects are jumping all over it.

He wanted this to be added -

"While we hope Senator Sinema will change her position on prescription drug reform and support a major reconciliation bill . . ."

Good of Bernie. 1 sided rebuke while people continue to die due to unaffordable drugs while Sinema continues her lobbyist & PAC money affiliation, is not okay.

This is the dumbest form of politics. Not surprised Josh Kraushaar is promoting it. He can't let Chris Cillizza win the title of most obnoxious 90 IQ centrist/corporate pundit.

Kraushaar is no centrist.  I follow his twitter feed because The National Journal has some interesting stories not really covered by anybody else, but he's a sleazy, dishonest, far right wing warmonger.

He sympathizes with all of Trump's fascist supporters, though I believe he's a 'never Trump.'

I agree with Bernie on this.

Sinema (and Manchin) deserve it.
