Describe a US-Canadian dual citizen who would have voted for Trump in the 2020 Presidential election but for the NDP in the recent Canadian general election.

I know a guy like this. He isn't American but he's part of the very online 'post-left'. He used to be more left-wing but also considers himself a nationalist. Not somebody who fits neatly into any party in the US or Canadian system.
