Please only Dems vote. Reps can post who they want. If you vote you must post who you voted for.

I might actually temporarily register as a Democrat to vote for Holt in the primary. I like Rothman, too, but I love Holt. (Plus, he has the best name ever, along with his deceased father.)
Yes, Rush Holt is a pretty good name.

Rob Andrews:

Voted YES on constitutional amendment prohibiting flag desecration.
Voted NO on replacing death penalty with life imprisonment.
Voted YES on eliminating the Estate Tax
Voted YES on authorizing military force in Iraq

Theres some beef I have. But I can understand the last one.

Rush Holt is awesome, would love to see him as a Senator. He has incredible integrity and intelligence (former rocket scientist), and is very dedicated to reforming government and our voting system.  His only problem is that he doesn't have the political power or fundraising abilities of a Bob Menendez or Rob Andrews.

Andrews has some horrible votes in his past, a few of which Conan just posted. I hope he stays in the House.

Holt is the most intelligent and would make the best Senator. He is quite progressive as well.

Why? Pallone is no different then the other NJ Dem congressmen. Plus, the GOP has no candidates to run, unless theres a rich businessman who can do it, but then theyd lose too.

Pallone, Holt and Rothman are all about equally mildly liberal. Andrews is more moderate.
Looking over the issues, Andrews seems only a tidbit more moderate then the others, not much though. Socially liberal, fiscally moderate, wrong ideas with defense.

Chris Christie seems credible. I imagine Pallone as a weak campaigner but I guess I am not really qualified to say that.

Anybody who thinks Chris Christie can run is an idiot. Maybe 10% name recognition, conservative, Bush pioneer, and improper use of office.

10% name ID? With all of his involvement in prosecuting the trash in your Garbage State? Do you think Rush Holt has a higher name ID? Being conservative means he can't run? Have you ever heard of Bret Schundler or Steve Lonegan? Bush pioneer? Oh how I can't wait until the day when that can't be used by every Dem running for office! What improper use of his office? Well...besides going after the corrupt Dems running your state...

By the way, anybody that thinks he can run is an idiot? Really? Is that why he is one of the most frequently mentioned candidates for the Senate?

That was one of the most stupid things I have ever read. Yes he only has around 10% name ID. Yes more people know who Holt is. PA is the sh**t state compared to NJ. Obviously Keans candidacy shows you the need for a liberal to liberal face off in NJ because we will not send a conservative to Washington. Yes BUsh pioneer will hurt him in TV commercials. Steve Lonegan and Schundler lost by the way so that was a stupid idea to bring them up and they werent running for congress either.
