Amazing how as ideologically varied as the posters in this thread are, somehow nearly none can come up with a coherent refutation of her statement that doesn't resort to outright dismissiveness or lazy and predictable cries of anti-Semitism.

It's difficult to refute such a shambolic statement in a way that isn't itself shambolic. I think my point about the statement making some degree of sense as an explanation for a no vote but seeming completely disconnected from the present vote that she actually cast (and the reasons why doing so pissed everybody off) was fairly grounded and specific, though.

I mean, she did literally say the issue was with the process and not the bill itself.
