The NY-26 race has zoomed pretty quickly into the centre of the political radar.  I believe Davis has the momentum at present but I don't know whether he's ahead.  In any case, its advantageous to the Democrats that the head of RCCC has to defend his own seat.  Also, just mildly suprisingly - isn't Davis 73 years old?

Sounds like the NRCC needs to dump some cash here.
This was considered one of the safest NY Republican districts before.

All the Democrats were packed into the gerrymandered NY-28 to help out Reynolds.

FYI, Reynolds underperformed Bush in 2004.  That's the main reason why this seat was always on my list (albeit a little further back) before the present mess erupted.
