I would've left this forum long ago if "US General Discussion" was the only board (actually I'd never have made an account)
You can find the same thing on /r/PoliticalDiscussion with hundreds of more comments
What makes this forum great is literally every other board.
Reddit has the upvote and downvote system so you only get the left-wing hacks but not the right-wing hacks.
USGD, for all its flaws, still exceeds Reddit political discussion by a mile. Almost every top comment on Reddit concerning politics is full of half-truths and misconceptions, upvoted by other people exposed to those safe half-truths and misconceptions. People on here are much more informed and even more civilized than almost any other political forum.
