I don't know a lot about French politics, but how would you vote in elections?

Congressional Elections:
1792: Marais
1795-1798: Thermidorians
August 1815-1830: Doctrinaires
1831-1837: Movement Party
1839: Opposition
1842-1846: Movement Party
1848-49: Montagnard
1852-57: Opposition
1863-69: Republican
1871: Republican Left

Presidential Elections:
1873-79: Republican
1885-1895: Moderate Republican
1899: Republican Federation
1909: Democratic-Republican Alliance
1913-Jan 1920: Republican Democratic Party
September 1920: Independent Center-Right
1924: Republican Socialist Party
1931: Republican Federation Party
1932-1939: Democratic Alliance
1947: PRL
1953: CNIP
1958: UNP
1965 (First & second choice): UNR
1969: (First & second choice): UDR
1974: (First & second choice) RI
1981: First Round: Rally for the Republic
Runoff: UDF
1988 (First & second choice): RPR
1995: First choice: MPF
Runoff: RPR
2002: First choice: CPNT
Runoff: RPR
2007: First choice: CPNT
Runoff: UMP
2012: First choice: DLF
Runoff: UMP
2017: First choice: UPR
Runoff: FN
2022 first choice: UPR

I might be open to supporting The Socialist Party if I knew more about the particular candidates, but for now I'll say I'll vote against them.

I cannot vote, in first round i'll support Anne Hidalgo enthusiastically, and i don't know about 2nd round.

I didn't include 2022 as we don't know what the field will be yet, but I'll most likely reluctantly support Macron in order to stop LR (who have moved way too far right in the last few years) and especially RN (Le Pen).

I hope you'll support Hidalgo... in first round. Second round, i don't care, i think reluctantly supporting Macron is ok.

w/o hindsight at the time I would have supported Melenchon --> Macron in '17 and maybe Le Pen w/ hindsight in the runoff (unsure about first round)

probably would have been ? --> Le Pen in 2022
