If so, would he have a chance to win?

Far-right would never support him. He would never win a primary.

Yet SirWoodbury still seems to like him. It's kind of bizarre. But other than him, Weld committed the cardinal sin in the GOP of opposing Trump to the extent of wanting to compete against him in a primary. He would have no chance, even if Baker still isn't the most "pure" in their eyes.

He could run on a one-term pledge (?) - It would be a good idea to run a moderate in a blue state even though he is anti-Trump. Baker, Hogan, and Scott didn't support Trump either.

EDIT: I don't really like him but Baker should definitely run for Governor again. He won resoundingly last time and voters seem to be a lot more partisan for federal races.

EDIT 2: As for Weld, Baker would probably be stronger in a general but I imagine Baker would lose a Senate bid anyway. Weld would have a 40-50% chance to win the primary and a 1 in 4 shot at a general imo. I'm not an expert but I think Weld could crack 40% statewide.

EDIT 3: I might be a bit bullish on Weld's primary chances (and maybe his general chances too) as Weld did run against Trump in the primary as Progressive Pessimist pointed out. I would be utterly stunned if Weld actually won the general, though.
