An Act

To Remove and Replace the Speaker of the General Court

Section 1. Termination of Speaker Crane

In recognition of the recent special election result,

And in a desire to increase the level of serious legislative work being accomplished,

The General Court hereby immediately terminates Crane from the position of Speaker.

Section 2. Replacement

The General Court hereby selects ReaganClinton as its new speaker.

In accordance with the rules for this type of bill:

Quote
D. The General Court may, at any time, remove the Speaker by introducing legislation to do such. The motion shall take precedence over all other business before the Court, and shall only be open to debate at the discretion of the presiding officer. A 48 hour vote, according to the provisions of Section 3, may begin immediately. The Governor will designate a Deputy to preside in the place of the Speaker. The Legislation may designate the new Speaker, or a new one may be elected afterward as detailed above.

I shall immediately inform the governor of a need to select an alternative presiding officer so that this can be brought to the floor and voted on as quickly as possible.

Good to see that the DA is still allied with the Feds.

Wulfric should preside, as he has the most experience

Thanks for the support. I guess I'm supposed to make people write bills and vote on them. Resigning effective immediately from both the Court and the Speakership.

The rules literally do not allow the Speaker to preside over their own termination, so Kaiser is simply doing his job above.

The concern is not really about making people write bills, more about a desire to more quickly dispose of the more memish legislation rather than taking it semi-seriously (the speaker does have the power to make motions to table on bill threads you know).
Good to see that Wulfric is a sadist again.
