Here's my list of pickups.  Indiana should become a much bluer state on election day.

Democrats
IA 1
IN 2
IN 8
IN 9
KY 4
VA 2
WI 8
AZ 8
CO 7
TX 22
NC 11

Republicans
IL 8

Honestly, it's probably worse than this.

We can add FL-16 to that list now as well!

I'm not so sure.  Bob Ney's seat will probably remain Republican and no one was attacked more (for good reason) than he was.  Five and a half weeks is a long time and I suspect many people in that area will have forgotten and see his name on the ballot and still vote for him.

I think OH-18 could still go Democrat actually.

As for FL-16, I think Foley's pretty much tainted the race and seat for the GOP. It will be interesting if its polled; the District voted 54%-46% for Bush in 2004 so clearly the Democrats do not have as uphill a struggle as in OH-18.  Also, voters are going to have re-elect Foley if they vote Republican - his votes will go to his replacement on the ballot with an 'R' next to their name.  Finally, Tim Mahoney - the challenger is quite stable and was apparently at least going to make Foley work for re-election.

Well, I disagree on both counts.  Presidential numbers are an entirely different dynamic than House numbers are.  A good example would be Ohio in 2004.  Voinavich cruised while Bush just slipped by.  Having said that, I wish this hadn't happened.

You don't have the Democrats picking up a single seat in Ohio....

This list is a complete joke.

No race in OH is a shoo-in pick-up for the Dems, if you can prove this, congradulations because it is not possible.

Are you saying that all 11 of the seats that Whacker has the Dems gaining are shoo-ins? Please explain your as-usual backwards logic.

Last poll on OH-18 had Space ahead of Padgett by 14. Try to keep up.

Since my name was mentioned, I'll say this about my picks.  Of the 11 I mentioned, I think the Democrats are certain to win 10 of them.  I'm not quite sure about KY 4, but Lucas will be tough to beat.  As for Ohio, I had not seen the poll on OH 18.  I check RCP everyday and I had not seen that one listed.  If that's the case, then make it 12 seats.
