Decent number of ancestral Dems in states like Kentucky and West Virginia. Obama still got over 40% there in 2008 but cratered in 2012.

some Upper Middle Class suburbanites who were mad about the ACA causing their own healthcare costs to skyrocket. A lot of suburban towns swung to Romney in 2012 before swinging hard against the Republicans in 2016.
