The game engine told me that I used the Arctic Defense (which is said to create long, drawn-out defense battles) and only had one or two blunders. All in all I defended well, but I found it hard to regain footing after one of my rooks was forked and I immediately had a material disadvantage and I felt that once my pawns on the kingside were wiped out, it would be game over. The pawn structures in the center were invaluable in slowing the tempo of your advance but I reckon they would have been lost either way.

I considered asking for a draw but felt that it was unjustified.

All in all, a great game indeed and it was a pleasure playing.

Don't think i can. I should have said that work has and will be chaotic, and that those final five moves are probably giung to be my standard going toward. Gotta love retail!
