The dedication some have to DeSantis rivals the kind of commitment people have to Trump. People will believe he’s handled COVID wonderfully regardless of what the statistics say.

Florida consistently has had less deaths per capita than most blue states.

Only mostly bc a lot of the state can do things outside, due to the weather. If people were forced inside more often, it would've been a LOT worse in FL.

And states like New Jersey and New York were hit hard very early in the pandemic when there wasn't really much of a plan to combat the virus.

I know people on this site have a weird thing for the guy, but it's pretty clear that he has not done a good job handling this problem.

I am sure he's grateful that we're still in 2021, otherwise his re-election bid would be gasping for air:

It doesn't matter what happens in Florida!

FLORIDA as always will go with the National Political Environment.

Rick Scott won Re-Election in 2014 despite his Favorable Ratings being only at 45 %. Because Obamas JA stood at 44 % on E-Day in 2014 Scott won.

Same in 2018: Trumps JA in Florida was 51 %, that's why DeSantis won.

No one will care what happened in FL in August 2021 in November 2022!!!

DeSantis was only at 60/40 after Surfside, since then his polls went back to normal

Nikki Fried is gonna join Whitmer, Grisham, and Kelly as female Govs of US, depending on whom runs on our side for NH, Ayotte could be too

D's have VBM, despite Voter Suppression, with Early votes in Cali, D's still are advantagd, don't let Rs foil you on thinking that they have the advantage

Voter Suppression has to do mostly with same day voting not VBM, and it mandates ID and DL and in this era you should be getting Real IDs anyways to travel

Nikki Fried looks like Abby Fink, another reason why I think D's will win OH, NC IA Sen races and Rubio will hold on but Rs will win OH, and Fried will win FL Gov SPL voting
