Why do people find “olawakandi” funny?

1) He has horrendous election takes- egregious examples of wish-casting for Democrats even by the standards of this forum.

2) His grammar is akin to someone getting a seizure. Is that what supposedly makes him “funny”? The fact that you cannot fathom his balderdash about how Tim Ryan and Charlie Crist can somehow win? Or the fact that we’re laughing at someone who may or may not be having a seizure?

3) Not related but he is also into some weird NOI flapdoodle about race.... which is fairly odd, to say the least. And he has also declared himself to be a law student.

I don’t mean to execrate the guy, especially as he is far from the most egregious poster here, but I simply cannot fathom why people find him funny. He just has some of the most atrocious grammar and election takes I’ve ever had the honor (dis-honor?) of laying my eyes upon.

People enjoy olawakandi very much, they find olawakandi funny for the same reason that they enjoy seeing unicyclists and clowns and others. It’s a distraction from the boring and mundane every day life, kind of like how John Kasich is the most milquetoast Republican governor of the past 40 odd years or so. People like a bit of spice in their mayonnaise, or maybe they might like ketchup, but who knows - it all goes on the fries anyway. Who’s harmed by it?

I’ll tell you what: that Kate Plus Eight chick or whatever her name is. She is the epitome of idyllic and mythologized suburban Americans, the sort of folks who clutch pearl rosaries and pray for deliverance from tyranny of seeing a brown person.
