I think the golf balls are about to come out. Every call going against Tennessee! Ya hate to see it happen to this fanbase.

Thankfully this one wasn't the Mayo Bowl.

I think they got jobbed on the OT not-TD call, but as a Georgia fan I have no love lost for Tennessee. Wink  (My wife leaves the room if they're on TV.  She still has PTSD from the game several years ago where they beat us on a last-second Hail Mary.)

I remember that game well, probably better than any Saturday in my lifetime with the nightcap of Lamar Jackson at Clemson later that night. In that game, I had Tennessee -3.5 and they didn't kick the PAT after the Hail Mary (34-31), so maybe that's where my hatred stems from.

But I do have maybe an ounce of sympathy for what just occurred tonight.

Remember the game well--October 2016

Tennessee went into the Texas A&M undefeated and in the Top 10.  They fell hard after that--losing to South Carolina and Vanderbilt and lost their chance to make the SEC championship game.

What a crushing loss for Pitt. It seems like Michigan State has a lot of games like this where they get a miracle last second interception/fumble to put the game away.

GeorgiaModerate, can we get a scoreboard update?

I need to know if I should write my concession speech to Donerail.

Pitt was already down to their third string quarterback for most of the game, yet they were in position to win there. I have no idea why Narduzzi didn't call a timeout to make sure Beville was ready. What exactly are you saving it for? Unfortunately a win is all that counts, but MSU definitely didn't win it through their own overwhelming talent.

I need to know if I should write my concession speech to Donerail.

Donerail still leads, but he doesn't have it sewn up.  So far we have 11 games completed this "week" with these results:

8-3: Me
6-5: JGibson, Terry
5-6: Illiniwek, NYE
4-7: Dereich, Donerail

This makes the current overall standings at the top:

226 Donerail
224 GeorgiaModerate
223 NYE
221 Dereich
218 Terry

There are ten games outstanding, but some of them are unanimous picks and won't affect the relative standings.  (That's not counting the CFP Final, which we obviously haven't picked yet.)

NYE I think is mathematically out — down three with only two possible points to gain (the Orange and the Texas). You, on the other hand, could win outright, since we picked differently in the Outback, Citrus and Sugar.

Technically, I'm not dead yet. I'd need to pick a different pick to both you and GeorgiaModerate in the Championship Game, and get the other two picks right.

Don’t forget that if someone has a 1-game lead after this week they could still catch up with the final game.  We were in that situation last year in either this pick’em or the NFL one (or maybe both).

It was both, between me and ExtremeRepublican (I think) in the NFL one and between me and Donerail in CFB (I won CFB, tied in NFL) -- TerrytheFatShark has not done well this year, sad!

Who the hell schedules a bowl game with a midwestern team at 9:30 at night? Awful scheduling on that Wisconsin/ASU game.

Bryce Young continues to be probably the most overrated piece of sh**t to ever sniff a Heisman.

Well he's not needed. Saban figured out that Cinci couldn't stop the run making Bryce mostly irrelevant.

Alabama is America's Team. Last time I wore my Alabama jacket up here, I got three "Roll Tide"'s just walking three blocks. Usually get 2 or 3 but that's when I walk a mile or two.

Another win for the football team that's, combined, read several books.

I'll be rooting very very hard for Michigan. Purely out of hope I'll say 28-24 Michigan. Go blue.

Me too, but at the end of the day the team who spent the least time in class came out on top.
