We've got an upset brewing in Las Vegas, as 0-6 UNLV leads San Jose State 17-13 at halftime.

#Pac12AfterDark has an upset brewing, as 17 point underdogs, and winless Arizona leads Washington 13-0 with halftime approaching.

Ouch! Colorado State nearly sealed the comeback against Utah State. With the clock temporarily stopped at 0:11 and a chance to spike, they inexplicably ran the kicker onto the field to rush the kick. Even the offensive players were confused and five of them initially stayed on the field until they realized it was the kicker rather than the QB.

Clearly a lot of somebodies messed up and this was going to have to be the move if they were tackled short of the first down (leaving 4th down in FG range), not if they got it!

Not going to be an easy road to bowl eligibility for Steve Addazio. They'll need at least one upset in their next three against superior divisional foes. Fortunately two are at home.

Utah State, down as they may seem, have a real shot at 10 wins with the toughest opponent remaining being Wyoming at home. And with Boise out of the race, they hold tiebreakers against the other two 1-loss teams to play in the conference title game now. Who could've seen that!

SP+ Rankings
59. Boise State
61. Air Force
67. Wyoming
81. Colorado State
104. Utah State
118. New Mexico

What are the odds that #104 takes that title!

Not like you're missing much this week — the early slate in particular is one of the worst I can remember. I might end up watching Northwestern football.

The Army should put on a good show at noon. I would say Syracuse too, but even with a win, it's hard to see them getting to bowl eligibility so little at stake. Looking forward to Dino Babers' fourth straight loss by a field goal. Sad Hope his job is not in jeopardy but when you can't even win in this ACC....

It's early in the second quarter, but Kansas is up 7-0 on #3 Oklahoma...and driving.

After one quarter, both the Navy/Cincinnati and Northwestern/Michigan games are tied.

Now 10-0.  Oklahoma was a 38.5 point favorite in this game.

Upset Alert!

#2 Cincinnati in trouble against Navy, trailing 10-7 early in the second quarter, and Desmond Ridder just threw an interception to give Navy the ball back.

Okay, I take back what I said about Oklahoma deserving #2. But Cincinnati clearly don't deserve it, either.

The Army Welfare Knights are hanging around right now. It just goes to show that WF isn't as good as their record indicates and they shouldn't be considered frontrunners for the ACC.

LOL. I have to admit I laughed.

Also, the ACC is not a real P5 conference right now, so no surprise.

Kansas just got jobbed by the refs.  The runner's forward progress was clearly stopped on that 4th down play.

Elsewhere, Wake Forest leads Army 56-49 with 8 minutes left.

I feel so confident about taking the outright conference title this year after Dartmouth laid an egg last night. But this happens every year...I'm sure we will inexplicably drop the Yale game at home and finish in a 3 way tie or something bizarre. Still better than I expected against the Crimson so far.
