SINGAPORE - Covid-19 measures will be tightened again from Thursday (July 22) to Aug 18, as Singapore goes back to phase two (heightened alert) to stem the recent spike in community cases.

Dining in will not be allowed during this period, among other restrictions, Trade and Industry Minister Gan Kim Yong said at a press conference on Tuesday. Eateries can offer only takeaway and delivery options.

Maximum group sizes for social gatherings will be reduced from five to two. The number of distinct visitors per household per day will also be capped at two, from the current five.

Utterly exhuasted by this move which was caused by people being unable to keep it in their pants  and going to KTV/outlets basicaly brothels to get their dick sucked hence spreading covid everywhere.

The same thing ended Taiwan's zero-virus streak. Old people cruised around "tea houses".

Also, South Korea almost completely eliminated transmission, until a case reappeared at a club. Unfortunately, that club was gay, and that set off a wave of homophobia.

Malaysia has opted for the far more boring route of getting a new COVID spike every time there's a public holiday, it appears.

Meanwhile Indonesia has gone for the tried and tested "Pandemic, what pandemic?" response.

The PSP a third-rate oppostion party is trying to rile people up over this issue and it briefly flaired up after some indian polticans talked about the singapore variant and we failied to close our border to india quick enough but people are mostly focused on covid right now and a disturbing school stabbing second.
