Are there any real life politicians that use this forum?

Muon was a state Rep in Illinois. South Dakota's AG was also a user years ago, though he's no longer active.

Though there are other people who have worked in politics/government. I'm a staffer on Capitol Hill, Pollster runs a polling firm and LordRichard was a campaign staffer for Congressman Mike Garcia.

As Roll Roons explained, there have been a few over the years. I wouldn't be surprised if there were more in the future.

POTUS2036 is currently a WV State Delegate, who, obviously, hopes to be president in 2036.

I've held municipal office in Western Massachusetts. I believe Badger was also a local officeholder at one time.

Del Tachi is another poster who's worked in politics but not as an officeholder; if memory serves he was a Senate page.

The "confessions" thread from a few months ago, as well as a couple other posts have implied that there are at least a couple politicians, prominent journos, and a US Senator's son who at least lurk here, if not actually being active posters.

I am currently Speaker of the House, granted, of a Mock Government Server on Discord, but I'm still Speaker, though.

We have two things in common. We are queer and failed. Alas when it comes to our respective mug shots, we do not have anything in common. One of us is an Adonis, and one of us is not.  Cry

I was a volunteer on a couple of campaigns in the midterms got my first position running ads for a super tiny firm that was supported by Biden I did a pretty horrible job and overpromised my employer but in the end, I got the ads to work and run. I recently got recruited by the NDTC to be trained to run how to run for office I'm about halfway through the program there are tons of Political consultants former candidates future candidates and municipal level office holders I've met. I don't know if I will ever run for office but id like to be a political consultant or pollster.
If I do run for something though it won't be for another 5-10 years and will probably be something super local like Schoolboard.

We actually have our very own Mock Government platform here on Atlas if you are interested in joining Tongue

So if we are going that route pretty much everyone who has ever played Atlasia would qualify, including myself (where I served multiple stints as a Senator)

What is it like to lead a regional legislative chamber in a fantasy government simulation? I have no idea, so I'm asking you.

Can't believe nobody has mentioned Darryl W. Perry yet.

This is what he's up to these days for those curious:

Currently, I have quite a bit of influence, since a lot of seats are filled by NPC's, due to a small server and almost everyone losing downballot(Voting is done by a simulation on how much you campaigned), but we're starting out, and hopefully, Congress has more actual users soon.

I have many friends in insider GOP circles and conservative media, and I briefly worked as an intern for National Review.

Does that count?

Is he holding up a card that says he will donate his brain? His brain should be preserved and stored in a museum!
