The hardships of Black (ADOS) people as a group are fundamentally different from those of white women, particularly their economic exclusion.

I agree. Which is why I am fully in favor of what I'd call the surplus-value reparation, for all of the unpaid labor of the working classes, the most consistently systematically exploited group in history.

Reparations would be handled by the US Treasury, not individual people paying other individual people, so in a sense we'd all be paying, no matter who you are.

And, no, reparations' targets are either descendants of slaves or American Indians. No other group ever gets brought up on this topic.

Original Homestead Act offered 160 acres. Those are amateur numbers, man!

Also, I unironically think that given rural depopulation, a New Homestead Act makes a lot of sense. Sure, like, 95% of young people wouldn't be interested in "if you build a house and farm the land for five years, the land is yours." But 5% might well take that offer! It'd also be great content for a Youtube or Tiktok show, for the more enterprising types.

Reparations is based on the idea that people are poor today because their ancestors were wronged. Women don’t have any more female ancestry than men do, so giving women reparations without giving their brothers reparations wouldn’t make sense.
