I could probably tolerate the rap one if I was drunk, and the metal one if I was high. Getting drunk would be easier so rap (but absolutely NOT Kanye West.)

I've never attended a concert in my life. I suppose Metal would be interesting, though I've barely listened to it recently. Country music wouldn't be bad either. Most rap music sucks and even the stuff I like is strictly a guilty pleasure which I would never want to see in concert.

Not really a fan of any of these genres, probably a country concert if I had to.

I'll just say country, and really really hope to God they're talking about the Willie Nelson kind of country and not the bro "girls, beer, 'n pickup trucks" kind of country.

Rap, since that's still a relatively broad category and there are some rap artists that I enjoy.

I only like a handful of country songs period, and absolutely do not like metal.

Country is ok in the summer with a drink, but I don't really consider it like a music experience its more of drinking at an outdoor bar with live music. And you can't really get hyped to country music so idk.

Like a bit of Rap but it seems really sh**t live, like really really sh**t.

Metal maybe? Might be decent live, but I don't listen to the genre.

A few years ago, I would have said metal without question. Today, it would have to depend on the artist. Where I am in my life, the message of the music matters as much as or more than the genre. Can't believe I would ever say something like that, but so be it. Tongue

I don’t like any of these specific genres, but I guess Rap, because I can’t stand country music or metal in my eardrums.

I've attended a few of the latter two, enjoyed both. Voted metal.

Metal if it had real vocals. If it's a genre like death/black metal with just screaming I'd choose country.

if we're talking "generic" versions of each, metal easily.  Of course I'd rather see Willie (I'm just now realizing most of the country artists I like are all dead or nearly dead) or Cypress Hill than almost any metal artist, but just regular pop country or what rap is today? nah, I'll take the generic modern metal band every day of the week and twice on Friday nights.

And as CT Rattlesnake said, live rap is almost always horrible.

To me the music is irrelevant, a concert is all about the people you go with
