Someone from Northeast Texas (bordering AR) impacted by the farm crisis and who was torn between supporting Bush, a Texan but from across the state, or Clinton, from the more culturally similar Arkansas, and settled on Perot, from the same region as him. In 1996, not as enchanted with Perot and with Dole from outside TX, went for Clinton but then for Bush, a fellow Texan, twice, before going for Obama because of the economic problems. In 2012 he moved to South Texas (or maybe Miami, to retire) and went for Romney, but in 2016, pressured by neighbours, went for Clinton. In 2020, he joined neighbours in proudly casting a ballot for Trump.
