Fairly easy vote for Mondale, though I like Reuben Askew as well.

Mondale. Jackson would've made McGovern look like an electable powerhouse by comparison  and Hart's "New Ideas" were way too broad.

Either Hart or Jackson, I'd probably be suckered into Hart simply because Mondale was too tied to Carter and I'd delude myself into thinking Reagan beatable.

But I could see a case where I get cynical and apathetic enough to be like "f*(k it, I'm going with the Rev on this one".

After getting sorta suckered recently, I can say for certainty I would have voted for Jesse Jackson, but I would not like it afterwards.

If “other” is an option I’m going Ted Kennedy of course (although he isn’t in the same stratosphere as his brothers). John Glenn would be a second for me. Mondale third. Hart fourth. Jackson WAY down at the bottom of the list

I might prefer Mondale or even Jackson just because I'd know whoever is nominated would be a sacrificial lamb doomed to fail against Reagan, and I'd rather keep Hart's perceived electoral strength intact for 1988. Of course, didn't quite work out that way, but this is without hindsight.
